On this relaxing escape from London you will be transported to a beautiful, mystical and ancient landscape, visiting monuments more than 5000 years old and taking in some of Great Britain’s stunning countryside along the way.You will have a tour guide on hand all day to help you make the most of your trip, and to whet your appetite with some stories, facts and figures about these remarkable places.
Not only is Avebury a very pretty and quintessentially English village, our first stop is also home to the largest ancient stone circle in Europe. It is so large the village sits at it’s centre! You have ample time to explore here, walk the stones, visit the museum to discover the history and the stories, or perhaps see lovely Avebury Manor & gardens, run by the National Trust. Of course, you could always check out the historic village pubs too…
After all that fresh air, you’ll have a while to rest up whilst our comfortable coach whisks you to the next stop. Mysterious and compelling, Stonehenge is one of the most famous and recognised ancient monuments in the world. See the 50 tonne megaliths for yourself, before checking out the state-of-the-art exhibition centre to unravel some of the history and mystery of this timeless place.

Outside Union Car Park, Harrington Road, South Kensington
From South Kensington Station, exit via the left hand stairs when you come through the ticket barriers. Turn right and cross at the traffic lights. Walk up Harrington Road, between the optician and the NatWest bank. You will pass the big grey Ampersand Hotel on your right. Keep walking until you come to the wooden fence on the left, this is Union Car Park. We will meet you on the pavement by the phone box.
09.00 – Depart South Kensington
10.30 – Arrive Avebury. Depart 13.30
14.30 – Arrive Stonehenge. Depart 16.30
18.30 – Arrive back to South Kensington
